The annual American Nuclear Society National Student Conference will take place from April 1st through April 5th at the University of Florida in Gainesville. Its goals include the sharing of ground-breaking student research, the promotion of educational enhancement via professional programs, and for professionals and students to meet for career opportunities. More than 400 students in nuclear engineering, health physics, and medical physics will unite with industry professionals to make this happen. The conference is an ideal occasion for students to interact with professionals, hear world-class speakers, network with recruiters, and gain real world perspectives. Some conference activities include:

- Technical presentations on cutting-edge research in the industry

- Tour of nuclear facilities and research laboratories

- Career fair presented by major companies in the nuclear industry

- Keynote addresses by specialists from national and international backgrounds

- Student socials which encourage networking between universities

- Workshops coordinated by national research laboratories

The event is called Call and Response Atlanta and it is an Awareness Concert for sex trafficking in Atlanta and will take place on March 31, at the Academy of Medicine. The concert will compose of 3 artists, provide information and facts about sex trafficking, and will have numerous organization in attendance that do types of service to reduce and combat sex trafficking in Atlanta.

The Comedian is Dean Obeidallah one of the most respectable Arab-American performers in the nation (great public attraction and worth the money). The Musician Team is headed by Samer Ackleh, professional team in Arabic (specifically Lebanese) traditional and cultural music. And the Dance team performs Dabke the Lebanese traditional dance. The event will be held Mar. 28.

As for last year it was our first time performing the event, and according to the JFC policy, first time events are not eligible for funding.
